Terms & Conditions

Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all services and agreements between Alpine Hotel Reich and its guests, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Reservations
Booking
A reservation is only confirmed after written confirmation from the hotel. The guest will receive a confirmation email with the reservation details.
Group reservations
Separate terms apply to group reservations (5 rooms or more). These are set out in writing in a group contract.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in: From 14:00. If you plan to arrive later, please kindly inform us in advance.
Check-out: Until 11:00. Late check-out is available upon request at an additional charge, subject to availability.
Prices
All prices include breakfast from a local bakery and statutory VAT, unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change.
The local tourist tax of CHF 2 per person per night is charged separately.
Payment
Payment can be made in cash, by debit card, or by credit card (Mastercard, Visa) at check-out. Invoicing by account is possible by prior written arrangement.
The hotel reserves the right to request a deposit for group reservations or events.
Cancellation policy
Individual bookings
- Up to 7 days before arrival: free cancellation
- Between 7 and 3 days before arrival: 50% of the first night
- Less than 3 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the first night
Group bookings
For group bookings (5 rooms or more), the cancellation terms are set out in the group contract.
Early departure
In the event of early departure, the originally booked period will be charged unless otherwise agreed.
Liability
Hotel liability
The hotel is liable for damage caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is limited to direct damage, unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory law.
Guest liability
The guest is liable for all damage caused to the hotel by him/her, his/her visitors, or his/her pets, unless he/she can demonstrate that the damage is not attributable to him/her.
Force majeure
In the event of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, official travel restrictions, etc.), both parties are released from their obligations for the duration of the event, without any right to compensation.
Pets
Pets are permitted at Alpine Hotel Reich upon request. A surcharge of CHF 15 per animal per night applies. Pets are not permitted in the restaurant and breakfast room.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the hotel, all rooms, or the restaurant. A dedicated cigar lounge is available for smokers. A cleaning fee of CHF 250 will be charged in the event of a violation.
Restaurant & Bowling
Reservations for the restaurant and bowling lanes are recommended, especially at weekends and during holidays. Bowling lanes are rented by the hour. Cancellations of restaurant reservations should be made at least 2 hours in advance.
Complaints
Despite our best efforts, things can occasionally go wrong. We ask you to report any complaints on site to reception so that we can resolve them immediately. Subsequent complaints cannot be processed.
Data protection
Our handling of personal data is governed by our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms and conditions.
Applicable law
All legal relationships between the guest and the hotel are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
The competent court is the court of the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland.
Severability clause
Should any provision of these terms and conditions be invalid, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the original purpose.
